MINIATURE BULL SKC MAY 12 Judge(s) MRS B SHAW DCC QUAYARDSON SIR ALBUS (MRS S & MISS J RICHARDSON) MINIATURE BULL TERRIER My sincere thanks to the committee of the SKC for this, my First appointment at C.C level in Miniature Bull Terriers, I thoroughly enjoyed it! As with the standards at this show, I again had some lovely quality animals to go over. Particularly pleased with both my CC, and R.CC winners, a credit to the Miniature Bull Terrier Breed. Dog CC. and BOB was Richardson's Quayarsdon Sir Albus, Dog R.CC Jolly's, Debully Frantic. Bitch CC and BOS, Whittaker's Wengormick Petite Lady. Bitch R.C.C. best puppy bitch and best puppy; Richardson's Quayarsdon Lady Bella. PD (4,1) 1 Kirby's Bullypins Avenger. Smart Bl Brindle/White, typey boy with lovely turned head, really well placed eyes and keen expression, good mouth. Short back, got lots of time on his side, should mature into a really handsome boy. 2 Boyne's Decadance Dauntless, Actually really liked this white dog but he was far too light on the day, really could use to gain a few pounds. Lovely filled head with perfect mouth excellent eye and expression, wasn't interested in the proceedings and seemed fed up with himself, did actually move very well once he got going. 3 Bell's Quayarsdon Sir Barclay At Darlou. JD (1) 1 Stephens Seayess Tartan Moon. White boy with lovely fill up to his head particularly under the eyes, excellent profile and a perfect mouth. Ears well set and well placed eyes with excellent expression. Short coupled with good depth of brisket and spring of rib, a lot to like about this lad. LD (2,1) 1 Woods' Prince Guvnor. Tri colour dog of lovely make and shape, really lovely neck into well laid shoulder, head lacking a little fill and profile, but perfect mouth and well set ears which he used to his advantage. Nice mover front and rear. OD (4,1) 1 Richardson's Quayardson Sir Albus. Cracking black/brin boy who really makes an impression as he comes into the ring. Stands four square with lovely filled and turned head with marked roman finish, correct mouth. Well set dark eyes, keen expression, and well set ears. Lovely lay back of shoulder and good length of upper arm, shows plenty of fore chest, short back and good turn of stifle with well let down hocks, moved soundly and confidently around the ring. A complete bullie in a little package on his toes all the time. 2 Jolly's Debully Frantic. White dog with lovely strong filled head with well placed eyes and wicked expression, perfect mouth. Straight front really lovely tight feet, not quite the angulation of 1 but a super typey boy who moves well. R.CC. PB (3,1) 1 Richardson's Quayardson Lady Bella. A striking Brindle/White baby who despite her youth, really stood out for me. Beautiful classical profile to her well filled head, excellent eye position with ears well set, perfect mouth. Lovely bone to her straight front, short back, marked turn of stifle and well let down hocks, shown and presented in top condition. Very Promising. Best puppy and R.CC. 2 Llewellyn's Bullypins Kalypso. Another beautiful brindle girl very similar to 1, really typey girl with again a lovely turned and filled head, excellent eye and expression, perfect mouth. Very nice on the move, I just preferred the bone of winner but two really lovely puppies. JD (2,1) 1 Grant's Seayess Tartan Star Of Granddach. Brindle girl and another lovely quality bitch. Particularly liked her lovely clean neck and shoulder placement. Good length of foreface on a feminine turned and filled head, good mouth. Straight front, tight feet a little longer in back but strong shapely quarters, moved well. LB (6,3) 1 Thornley and Jarvis Seaquest Warrior Maiden. White girl with absolutely lovely make and shape, stands foursquare whichever way you look at her, and so very typey. Gun barrel front with tight feet, well laid back shoulders correct balance of length of leg to depth of body, short back and completely sound. Moved very well as you would expect. A pretty, quality bitch who's only real fault is she could perhaps just use a little more fill below the eyes. Shown here in excellent condition and presented beautifully. 2 Lawrence's Badlesmere Bid For Gold. Red/Wh bitch I actually really liked. Head feminine but with fill and turn for her size, correct mouth. Well placed oblique eye, little reluctant to use her ears and a little disinterested in general. Straight front, short back, a real lovely little mini unfortunately was in very poor coat today, would perhaps be better left at home till she recovers her bloom. 3 Boyne's Erenden Miss Judged. OB (2,1) 1 Whittaker's Wengormick Petite Lady. Super white girl I have judged before as a puppy. This bitch is quality personified, with everything in the right place. Feminine head with good profile, and marked roman finish, well placed dark eyes and keen expression, correct mouth. Beautiful arched neck into clean laid back shoulder, straight front with good length of upper arm bringing her front legs right under her so she shows good fore chest. Short back, excellent turn of stifle, moved really well. Stood out in the line up looked an absolute picture, Type and quality with balance, was delighted to award her 3rd and crowning CC today!, congratulations. Barbara Shaw |
