BULL MINIATURE NATIONAL TERRIER 09 Bull Terriers (Miniature) Judge/s:Janet Furneaux (Dajan) Dog CC : PHILLIPS' BAISEYS BLANC DU BLANC OF BULLYON MINIATURE BULL JUDGE NAT TERRIER 09 Miniature Bull Terriers I am indebted to Jeff Skelton for helping me finely track down my shorthand notebook, hence the delay in my critique. I thoroughly enjoyed judging the Miniatures. Naturally I had heard much talk regarding sizes of Mini’s being shown, personally I would prefer a dog slightly over the measure that oozed quality, type & balance, to one under the measure lacking these virtues, OK strive for undersized but don’t lose sight, they do need to still look like a Bull Terrier. MPD (4) 1 Chitty’s Seaquest Dark Destroyer, well put together youngster, nicely rounded bone, OK for size; 2 Harrison’s Jenkir Thor, very immature boy, slightly longer in back than 1, needs time. PD (4) 1 Dobbin’s Debully Enter Sandman, smart r/w dog, good head & mouth, level topline held on the move, positive mover. JD (6) 1 Averis’ Otherton Look At You at Saredon, typy white dog, nice size, pleasing head, just lacked a little fill, handled & showed very well, moved well; 2 Salter’s Seaquest Legend, b/w, not as typy as 1 & slightly longer backed, good rounded bone. PGD (2) 1 Cartwright’s Badlesmere Buzzin’ Boycie, typy dog, not oversized, good head, neat well placed ears, mouth OK, very balanced bodylines & excellent sound movement. LD (6) 1 RCC, Vicker’s Edgar Wilde form Duvessa, super headed white dog, terrific expression, nice neck & topline, good quarters & sound mover; 2 Llewellyn’s Bullypins Kaimos, fabulous headed dog, kept the handler on his toes all the time. OD (14) 1 CC, BOB, Phillips’ Baiseys Blanc Du Blanc of Bullyon, super headed white, head filled & turned, stunning expression, not under the measure but his outstanding virtues forgave this, handled well; 2 Shaw’s Badlesmere Blackmail, smart tri, rather reluctant to show, then helped his handler & showed his good head, short back & moved OK; 3 Vicker’s Duvessa Red Cloud. MPB (2) 1 Chitty’s Seaquest Dark Crystal, very immature b/w, nice size, pleasing head, just needs time. PB (6) 1 BP, Ensell’s Erenden Waltzing Matilda at Minimayhem, everything to like about this typy girl, lovely head, super keen expression, neat eras, good neck, handled & showed beautifully & a nice size too; 2 Stephens’ Seayess Tartan Mist, feminine girl, pretty head & nice bodylines; 3 Haycock’s Morhar Allspice. JB (6) 1 RCC, Wiles’ Adderswood Vyvyan for Arcazy, beautiful bitch in fabulous condition, so feminine, nice size, super head & expression, neat ears, super bodylines, should make up easily; 2 Rowe & Hemstock’s Adderswood Catt of Jolihem, nice bitch & size, typy keen expression, 1 is a hard act to follow; 3 Chapman’s Grandopera Globa Warming at Delektabul. PGB (4) 1 Hopkins & Taylor’s Margins Move Over Darlin at Mandvessedum, lovely headed br/w, OK over the measure but a good typy bitch, straight front, nice neck, handled & showed well; 2 Smith’s Badlesmere Be Lucky, nice bitch & well put together, but reluctant to show herself off. LB (12) 1 Foster’s Badlesmere Buzzin’ About, a true Mini with a lovely head, neat little ears, good neck, deep chest, nice little bitch put together beautifully, handled & showed to perfection; 2 McGregor’s Bullypins Millima of Merlindan, super headed girl, good mouth, long neck, good topline, showed well; 3 Cartwright’s Black Mountains Bow. OB (14) 1 CC, Cox’s Duvessa Red River, very smart quality r/w bitch, beautiful clean head, nicely filled going into a strong neck, super topline & bodylines, strong quarters which showed in her movement; 2 Shaw’s Badlesmere Beeswax, small white, under the measure, good head, tiny ears, neat feet.
