Bull Terrier (Miniature)

Minor Puppy Dog 4 (1abs)

1. Mrs D Vickers Lafenice Ross Gelert with Duvessa, short backed cobby red dog, much to like, correct mouth.
Remainder unplaced due to faulty dentition

Puppy Dog 2 (1abs)

1. Mrs D Vickers Lafenice Tudor with Duvessa, brindle/white cobby youngster, soundly made, well bodied, good feet, correct mouth, moved with style. Best Puppy.

Post Graduate Dog 3

1. Gordon’s Kofyn Kerboom at Gordonsglen, white chunky dog, well made, sound mover, lacking self- belief.

2. Jenning’s Grandopera Sundance Kid, brindle/white pleasing body shape, rather leggy. Exaggerated front action and pulling one hind leg in.

3. Price’s Thrydings Longshanks brindle/white solid body, gleaming coat, good hard condition. Flat planes to head profile instead of curve, mouth did not please.

Limit Dog 4 (1abs)

1. Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Pirate, white impressive dog, sound construction, good profile. Correct mouth, moved with drive and showed well. Res CC

2. Boyne’s Decaance Dauntless at Boannadeen, white dog, nice size, good head, rather short in upper arm and wide in front. Moved with drive.

Third not awarded due to faulty dentition.

Open Dog 4

1. Hughes’ Graymor Gallantry top quality black brindle/white sound construction, good head and expression, in gleaming condition. Moved with drive and showed well.CC.

2. Holbrook’s Zeus Terissot von Amadis, red/white dog good bone and substance, fairish head but long foreface, on the plus side good wide lower jaw. Rather long cast. Tail set did not please.

3. Salewski-Mielchen’s Int/Ger/Lux/B/Irl Ch Easy Rider of Slanting Shore
Black brindle/white excellent showman in gleaming condition,well -handled but rather on the leg, lacking substance throughout. Flashy but unsound movement.

Minor Puppy Bitch 4 (2abs)

1. Vicker’s Lafenice Agatha Christie with Duvessa, soundly made young lady if perhaps a tad long cast. Moved with drive and showed well.

2. Plumley & Wylie’s Tuskenada Anais Anais with Transcend, sweet white quality bitch in excellent condition. At present slack in pasterns and shoulders a disappointment.

Puppy Bitch 2

1. Shipp’s Duvessa Gaia, white quality young lady, good head, well sprung ribs. Moved and showed well.

2. Almond’s Duvessa Nemesis brindle/white lovely profile to head, needs to broaden. Soundly made but still immature throughout.

Junior Bitch 5 (1 abs)

1. Presland’s Kofyn Kandy Krush, quality red/white bitch good head, good bone and substance. Sound construction throughout. Moved and showed well. Res CC.

2. Kettleborough’s Wengormick Petite Pandora at Bullysoul, black brindle/white bitch with good profile, Well made. Moved and showed well.

3. Boyne’s Decadance Dollar Belle at Boannadeen, black brindle/white bitch pleasing size. Shoulders and movement let her down.

Post Graduate Bitch 2

1. Barr’s Giffenbull Lady Luck, white cobby bitch, well made. Moved soundly.

2. Gardner & Twyman’s Bullypins Mystique into Laronbelle, black brindle/white bitch good in profile but lacks width and strength in head. Shoulders could be better. Flashy movement more reminiscent of a pointer than a mini.

Limit Bitch 2

1. Shaw’s Badlesmere Bourre quality white bitch with two black eye patches. Good head, soundly made and moved accordingly.

2. Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Playgirl brindle/white bitch, head profile could be better, tail set and carriage jarred.

Open Bitch 4

1. Shaw’s Badlesmere Bellarmine top quality brindle/white cobby bitch with powerful head. Good bone and substance without any coarseness. Excellent condition, moved with drive and showed well. CC & BOB. A credit to the breed in the Terrier Group.

2. Hughes’ Graymor Glacial Dawn, ultra feminine white bitch with long head. Soundly made, would have liked a little more bone throughout.

3. Salewski-Mielchen’s Int/Ger/Lux/NL Ch Domino of Slanting Shore white rangier bitch, head rather rectangular and shoulders disappointing.
