MINIATURE BULL JUDGE LEEDS 14

Miniature Bull Terriers

Nice entry, was a pleasure to see improvements in the overall standard in size & overall conformation, heads very good, also improvement in upper arm lengths, disappointing a couple of nice exhibits not cooperating but accept the heat did not help, my thanks to exhibitors & spectators for their appreciation of some very close decisions in some quality classes.

PD (3)

Nice class of youngsters, maturity playing a part.

1 Roger & Kirschberg’s Mysibul’s Red October, loved the size & style to this handsome mature 8 months r/w, good head well filled with gentle curve, keen eye with correct bite to finish the picture, nice length to neck & liked his shoulder placement, good overall body shape with substance to match, full of himself, this youngster moving confidently both fore & aft, never stopped showing which gave him the overall edge in the puppy challenge to take BP;

2 Vickers’ Lafenice Tudor by Duvessa, 6 months brindle, loved his head shape but not quite the fill of above making the difference today but just a matter of time, nice eye placement & used his ears, correct bite, good body shape, liked his front & bone in legs with plenty of substance, moved well giving the edge over 3, another nice youngster;

3 Price’s Isaaceal Longshanks Boy.

JD (1)

1 Phillips’ Bullyon Back To The Measure, lovely overall outline & head structure to match with good markings to enhance overall body shape, this handsome 7 months b/b/w, loved his head profile, well filled lovely gentle curve, good eye size & placement, strong front for age, well boned, but just the right amount of covering, not comfortable on the table but no problem going over on the ground, & no hesitation on the move, pushed hard in the puppy challenge.

PGD (3)

1 Jennings’ Grandopera Sundance Kid, nice head shape with lovely keen eye, correct bite & used ears to advantage, good length of neck, liked his strength of shoulder into well rounded body shape, enough bone & good feet, had power in back quarters which showed on the move, well on his toes this smart m/b, showed his attributes to full advantage giving him his place today;

2 Cserfalvi-Young’s Ducassos Coeur De Lion, not long out of puppy this young lad, loved his power in head, slightly better fill under the eye than above, but not cooperative today & paid the price, good shoulder placement & enough lung room, needs to tighten which showed on the move, but this should come as he matures, strong bone with compact body shape, overall a lovely dog;

3 Price’s Thrydings Longshanks.

LD (5,2a)

1 Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Pirate, liked the ear carriage on this young white with black eye patch enhancing solid head, just over 13 months, good profile with fill up mouth OK, well fronted into ribcage & lovely substance to cover, strong rearquarters & held his topline on the move;

2 Peacher & Lamber’s Lafenice Tamino of Caliber, lovely powerful headed brindle, nice curve well filled, correct mouth, liked overall body shape, enough rib & frontage, with bone to match, needs to settle more on the move & not pace, which he managed when moved again;

3 Roger & Kirschberg’s Seayess Condition Black at Mysibul.

OD (7,2)

1 Clark’s Grandopera The Dark Side, lovely quality class, close decisions, but this handsome brindle would not be denied his day, a natural extrovert, loves the ring, no doubting his sex from the moment he entered, good overall size, with height, length ratio to balance, powerful head, lovely eye & ear placement with plenty of fill, ears bang on top, using them throughout enhancing expression, short strong body shape, strength in front, good shoulder placement, good spring of rib, compact body structure with just the right covering & firm topline, strong rearquarters, everything in balance, covered the ground with ease, a Bull T in miniature, happy to award CC;

2 Hughes’ Graymor Gallantry, pushed hard in the challenge, strong masculine head, well-turned, good depth & correct mouth, good fill under the eye with strong profile, lovely expression when encouraged to use his ears, solid bone throughout with substance to match shape, just a shade longer in body than above, was splitting hairs, scores in front with plenty of lung room, good reach of neck, not disappointed on the move, well deserved RCC;

3 Richardson’s Quayardson Sir Bertie.

1 Presland’s Kofyn Kandy Krush, liked this smart feminine 8 months r/w, good head & body shape for age, nice eye & ear placement enhancing expression, enough fill & correct bite, liked her front assembly, strong legs plenty between, good neck length & shape, into well rounded ribs, in keeping with age & maturity with rearquarters to match, lovely pretty youngster, moved well to take a good class but disappointedly not so interested on the move in the puppy challenge;

2 Rogers Mysibul’s Light My Fire, lovely body shape & size on this 7 months youngster, solid front with good bone in keeping with stage of maturity, nice neckline with head developing profile, used her eyes & ears well, just not the maturity in head yet, but time on her side, has the substance with well sprung ribs, rearquarters developing well as shown when she moved;

3 Vicker’s Lafenice Agatha Christie by Duvessa.

2 Kettleborough’s Wengormick Petite Pandora at Bullysoul, similar age to above, this 13 months pretty girl, also likes the ring & never let her handler down, was just carrying that bit of after season weight that made the difference, lovely head shape, nice eye & ear placement, correct mouth, really feminine head but not lacking strength, shoulders well placed & plenty between forelegs, good rib, stronger in rearquarters which showed in her rear action;

3 Dance’s Decadance Debutante Belle.

PGB (3,1)

1 Shaw’s Badlesmere Bourre, lovely headed bitch, liked her head profile with good eye, well filled & used her ears, lovely expression, mouth OK, good compact body, short back with well-rounded body & strong boned legs, good tight feet, width at front, enough length of neck, both nice bitches in this class but she won through on movement, strong both ways & just that shade shorter;

2 Cserfalvi-Young’s Ducassos Summer Breeze, as above, a lovely bodied bitch, really expressive eyes & lovely expression, from well placed ear carriage & eye placement, good sweeping curve in head, well filled under eye, mouth OK, stood solid on her legs with good bone & plenty of covering, just let down on not cooperating on the move.

LB (5,1)

1 Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Playgirl, good length of head with nice gentle curve this sweet br/w with a lovely glint in her eye, well filled, correct bite, lovely earset bang on top, up on her toes throughout showing her virtues, well placed shoulders into strong neckline & plenty of rib, strength in movement both ways with topline remaining firm;

2 Roger & Stephens’ Seayess Condition Red at Mysibul, lovely powerful headed r/w while still remaining feminine, good fill, well placed eye, plenty of fill, makes good use of her ear carriage & uses them well, enough space between legs & nice length of neck with substance & bone to match, but stronger in rearquarters than front, which showed on the move, just a shade longer in back than above;

3 Mouroulis’ Angels Warriors Tiny Shiny.

OB (5)

1 Salewski-Mielchen’s Lux/Ger Ch Firefly Of Slanting Shore, a lovely class of quality bitches I was nitpicking but this little classy br/w showgirl never allowed me to look much further. Liked her size & overall structure, lovely strong well-turned filled head with power while still retaining her feminine charms, lovely glint in eyes well placed, plenty of fill & lovely graceful curve, correct mouth, ears on top & strong muscular neck into well placed shoulders, strong forelegs with plenty of brisket, well laid back shoulders into good rib & short strong back. Level topline on the move with strong rear action & parallel both ways, just a hairs bread shorter gave her the CC & continuing in style to take BOB;

2 Salewski-Mielchen’s Int/Nl/Lux/Ger Ch Domino Of Slanting Shore, fought hard this stylish white lady & so close, like above, so compact with body parts blending, super head, correct mouth, lovely profile & curve with plenty of fill, good eye with ears used throughout & such a lovely expression, solid front, plenty of space between legs & strength in neckline to complement body, well rounded rib, into strong back quarters, not let down on the move with strength & parallel in both directions. RCC;

3 Hughes’ Graymor Glacial Dawn.

VB (1)

1 Dance’s Decadance Dixy Liberty Bell, a credit to her owners this charming nearly 10 years lady, still a head to be proud of with gentle curve, fill up under eye, which had a mischievous glint reminding us she was still in her prime enjoying herself, good bite, & still plenty of muscletone in body shape, & couldn’t she still move, no hesitation at all, happy to award BV.
