MINIATURE BULL JUDGE LEEDS 11

Miniature Bull Terriers

A breed for years bred on a very small genepool which is interesting because it is apparent that the breed as suffered considerably not just with health problems but the overall balance & conformation leave a lot to be desired, shown naturally on loose leads a joy to judge.

However, several really classy ones could be improved with firm steady exercise.

A small band of enthusiasts have kept this breed together over the years with some good stock, there contribution to the breed over the generations has been invaluable.

My only wish is that the people in the breed would pull together more instead of being complacent? Putting the miniature first in every aspect!

My DCC & BOB is really something special, in immaculate order, excellent legs & feet is as sound as they come on the move, he showed his socks off.

PD (4)

1 Stephens’ Seayess Tartan Moon, white, 8 months, top class baby, superb shape & excellent outline, profile & expression reach of neck, true front ample bone, but not too big, could have a bright future. BP;

2 Hearne & Singleton’s Manowar by Warbonnet, handsome lad, loved his fill up, finish & profile, he as a cross the bear but this should not stop him becoming a very useful male, will watch him with interest;

3 Bell’s Quayardson Sir Albert.

JD (4)

1 Jones’ Transcend Festival Flutter with Indizak, handsome tri, good head, mouth OK, strong topline. Did tend to favour his rear outside leg on the move, handler need to get a grip with this lad & make a showman out of him;

2 Richardson’s Sir Arthur, good conformation, just needs more strength in head;

3 Redpath’s Manduessedum Re Vittorio.

PGD (5)

1 Dance’s Decadance Deliverance, handsome bl/br/w, who will not give you an inch, doesn’t like the ring, he is one of my favourites, stunning head, for a coloured has the smallest of eyes, short coupled, correct front, strength in bone, tightest of feet, one hell of a dog;

2 Woods’ Prince Guvnor, tri, good for size, would like more strength in head, neat little ears, movement erratic in front but moved well behind;

3 Clark’s Grandopera Hotmail.

LD (1)

1 Dance’s Decadance Dahlquist, white, handsome boy, little ears, width & strength in head, moved & showed like a bomb. CC & BOB.

OD (4)

1 Shaw’s Badlesmere Beast Released, solid brindle, love this colour. Much more feminine than I would like in a dog, would like more muzzle & leg bone, weak pastern & slack feet, his movement was hard to asses, handler need to up the pace;

2 Dodwell’s Decadance Defender, bl/br/w, handsome boy, not showing his best side, limped on the move hence 2nd;

3 Hopkins & Taylor’s Seayess First Night at Manduessedum.

PB (1)

1 Severn’s Olympusbulys Alaena, br/w, 11 months, ample strength to head, tight canine, good neck. Legs tend to nit a little on rear movement.

JB (2)

1 Hopkins & Taylor’s Manduessedum Re Caballe, br/w, loved body & size, good mouth, eye colour & small ears. Would like a little more second thigh, one to breed from in the future.

PGB (1)

1 Clark’s Grandopera Dot Com, bl/br/w, alone but what a girl, power packed head, always had a soft spot for her father, neck to die for bone that would put most dogs to shame, yes she is a big girl but well put together, beautifully handled by the youngest member of this team.

LB (5)

1 Phillips’ Ducassos Clear Measure of Bullyon, white, beautifully presented & shown but I didn’t think she is quite ready for CCs just yet, still a baby even on the move, needs more leg bone for length in pastern & unfortunately out of coat, would like harder condition;

2 Vickers’ Duvessa Devil Wears Prada, solid brindle, love her but doesn’t animate in the ring, but worthy of her placing. Stunning head width & fill, good mouth, moved with reach & drive, one of the few who can, pushed 1 hard;

3 Hughes’ Grammar Geneva.

OB (5)

1 Stephens’ Seayess First Love, little br/w with just the right amount of everything in the right place, moved out with purpose & drive, little ears, good mouth, a neck to die for, beautiful angulation front & rear, not course in anyway, everything I was looking for, loved her. CC;

2 Whittaker’s Wengormick Petite Lady, white, this young lady is now coming in to her own, I have often admired her clean lines from the side of the ring & she doesn’t disappoint. Here was carrying a little too much weight made her topline ruffle over the wither a bit but didn’t detract from her virtues. RCC;

3 Shaw’s Badlesmere Bookworm.
