MINIATURE BULL JUDGE LKA 15

Miniature Bull Terriers

I would like to thank the officers & committee for the invitation to judge Miniature Bull Terriers which is the first time of having classes for this vulnerable native breed. The show ran like clockwork & the lunch superb.

Size remains a problem since interbreeding though the two best bitches were under measure. Ten dogs entered but sadly only five were shown.

PD

1 Ratcliffs Aumaru Homeward Bound, 10 months white. Over measure, good head, perfect mouth, well constructed & moved accordingly. Happy temperament. Hope he doesn’t grow much bigger. BP.

PGD (2,1a)

1 Lewis’ Lafenice Joey Tribeni, mature white, good size. Head is excellent with downface & fill, very good expression, good ear placement, is undershot but canines are correct. Movement is good going, not so good coming back. Happy temperament. BD.

PB

1 Armitage’s Tryptical Snapdragon Myth, 7 months red smut, under measure, pretty pup rather overawed at her first show. Sensational head with tremendous arc & fill, has a severe mouth fault being undershot with misplaced canines. When settled she moved well.

Both superb bitches, I was splitting hairs & they could easily change places on another day.

1 Armitage’s Diesirai Tribal Narcissus, 3 year, mature bitch. Beautifully marked r/w, good for size, stunning head with good arc, perfect mouth. Moves much better going away, she in toes coming back, superbly presented & handled. BB & BOB;

2 Bennet & Pickering’s Quayardson Lady Delacour at Phunsize, solid brindle 20 months, way under measure, good head, mouth has one tight canine, well constructed, moved well, happy girl who could produce something special. RBB.
