MINIATURE BULL JUDGE CRUFTS 14

Miniature Bull Terriers

An excellent entry in both number & quality. Many super exhibits had to go cardless.

1 Presland-Vincent’s Ch/Ir Ch Badlesmere Brabazon in Kofyn, 8 years with strong head, good clean teeth & bite, strong body lines, moved well for his age.

PD (4)

1 Mountford’s Quayardson Sir Cedric, well balanced b/br/w. Well filled head, good mouth, correct expression, well bodied, moved well, super coat. BP;

2 Hecht’s Briannicus von Kaiserstuhl, br/w. Elegant type dog, not as much bone & substance as 1. Very good head, eye, expression, slight mouth fault. Not quite the movement of 1, well presented;

3 Dance’s Decandance Daring Kid, larger white with good masculine head, correct expression, good substance, can move when not overawed with the day.

JD (4)

1 Jennings’ Grandopera Sundance Kid, well balanced brindle. Good wide head, powerful muzzle, correct eye expression, nice earset. Good front, holds topline, typy dog;

2 Sharp’s Shacals Welsh Spirit, b/br/w. Handsome dog in super condition, good eye, head & expression. Preferred shorter back of 1 & would like tighter feet. Moved well;

3 Buchalska & Lockwoods Grandopera Buffalo Bill, well balanced brindle in super condition. Good head, eye & expression. Well bodied, moved wide in frame, close behind.

PGD (9,3a)

1 Kick & Hsl’s Jason Von Der Alten Veste, well balanced b/br/w. Great egg shaped head, correct expression, earset & mouth. Holds his topline on the move which was positive, very good condition.

2 Boerner’s Rebel Spirit Haymaker, br/w. Smart dog with good head, eye & expression. Correct mouth, good hard condition, shade upright & not as positive in movement as 1;

3 Wiles’ Arcazy Mr Brightside, larger type well balance br/w. Good head, eye & expression, correct mouth, good tight feet, moved well.

LD (5,2)

1 O’Neill & McGorm’s Coxgal Ri Hugo, well balanced handsome r/w, masculine head, good eye & expression, slight mouth fault, good front & substance, holds his topline, moved quite well;

2 Woods’ Prince Guvnor at Kiltonthorpe, eyecatching tri, masculine head, good eye, mouth, adequate substance, slightly upright, good hard condition;

3 Brommont-Lothary & McGregor’s Merlindan Captain Chaos, elegant type b/br/w. Neat head, good mouth & earset. Not enough substance for me. Good hard condition.

OD (16,3)

1 Clark’s Grandopera The Dark Side, straightaway took my eye. True Bull Terrier in miniature. Very smart little package, well balanced br/w of desirable size. Good masculine head, correct eye & expression. Mouth faulty, great front, well muscled hindquarters, enough substance, holds his topline, very typy. CC & BOB;

2 Moreno’s Grasco’s Honky Tonky, another outstanding br/w of excellent type & size. Lovely head, correct expression & mouth. Shade more upright than 1, but moved well. Very close decision. RCC;

3 Bjuhr’s Sw/Nor Ch Chill Out’s Mont Blanc, very typy solid BR little dog. Correct size, lovely well filled head. Good eye, expression & mouth. Clean body lines. Moved OK.

LB (7,3)

1 Roger & Stepens’ Seayess Condition Red at Mysibu, eyecatching r/w. Very good, well filled head with muzzle power. Slight mouth fault, excellent expression. I would prefer a shorter back, but she is well muscled & angulated & moved quite well;
