MINIATURE BULL JUDGE BLACKPOOL 16

Miniature Bull Terriers

I would like to thank the exhibitors that entered under me & also the committee of Blackpool & District Canine Society for inviting me to judge Miniature Bull Terriers. I really enjoyed my day & was pleased that the weather was good. The show was held at a lovely show ground, which I hadn’t been to before.

PD (1)

1 Dobwell’s Aloukanna Hold Your Fire, mature 11 months b/br dog. Strong masculine egg shaped head that was packed right up, with a well turned profile. Ears bang on top, plenty of underjaw, one instanding canine, correct incisors. Long strong neck, slightly up right in the shoulder, the shortest of backs, good spring of rib for a baby & plenty of bone, good bend of stifle, powerful quarters & tidy feet. Move with drive, held topline on the move. Handled well. BD, BP, BJ, BOB.

OD (2)

1 Todd’s Bullyon Bonzo’s Measure, cobby white dog. Good head with classical turn, lacks a little fill. Small eye, good ear placement, correct mouth, long neck into good lay of shoulder, straight front, shapely body & correct tailset. Plenty of bone for size, good rear angulation, excellent movement, was one with his handler. Just lost out to the puppy on the fill under the eye. RBD, RBOB;

2 Woods’ Prince Guvnor at Kiltonthorpe, tri dog, just coming up to veteran, another lovely short backed boy, in excellent condition. Long head that lacks a little in profile, prefect mouth, smallest of eyes & ears, enough bone for size, correct tailset, stood foursquare. Moved OK.
