ENGLISH BULL JUDGE SOUTH WALES 11

Bull Terriers

A good quality entry & I was pleased to see that there were only a few incorrect mouths but even these were animals of high virtue.

PD (1)

1 Gardner & Twyman’s Laronbelle’s Magic Visons, upstanding white with good profile, just needs a touch more fill which at 11 months can still come on. Correct mouth, wicked eye. Straight front, good round bone, correct topline & nicely balanced all through. Moved well both ways. BP.

JD (4)

1 Saunders & Dovey’s Jayston Yasmino’s Boy, very handsome tri, strong head with good arc & fill, correct mouth. Straight front, short back, correct topline, good bend of stifle & strong quarters. Moved fairly well. RCC;

2 Oprey, Roberts & McCusker’s Bayshuck Bouncer into Zaracle, a very handsome boy, white with black ears, head is completely filled. Wicked eye, unfortunately his mouth is incorrect. Decent front, deep chest, short coupled, good topline, strong quarters & moved fairly well;

3 Atkins’ Hentarw Executive Decision.

PGD (2)

1 O’Connell’s Ragnarok Gungnir, cobby white with black ears, strong filled head with good profile, mouth a fraction off level, straight front, nicely mature in body with deep chest & strong quarters. Moved fairly well;

2 Hannam’s Barking At The Moon with Bilboen, white with very nice profile, wicked eye, tight canines, decent front, a little loose all over & still needs to mature & tighten up in the body. Good bend of stifle, moved close.

LD (6)

1 Griffith’s Hentarw Welsh Warrior from Penpych, compact tri with nicely filled head, correct mouth, straight front, well balanced all though with strong quarters & moved well;

2 Sheppard & Howes’ Ragnarok Balder at Polanca, big upstanding r/w, well filled head with good profile but unfortunately his mouth is his cross to bear. Decent front, slightly longer in body than first with strong quarters, moved well;

3 Charty’s Crowning Glory.

OD (3)

1 Goodwin’s Busells Black Magic at Ounsdale, glorious tri, absolutely in his prime, head is strong, completely filled with excellent profile, correct mouth, straight front with good round bone. Deep chest with good spring of ribs, shapely body, strong quarters & well balanced all through, moved fairly well, a pleasure to go over him. CC & BOB.

PB (2)

1 Gardner & Twyman’s Zaracle Zofia for Laronbelle, pretty 9 months white with small black eye mark, strong head, completely filled, wicked eye, correct mouth, decent front, deep chest, strong quarters, mature in body for age & moved fairly well;

2 Honey’s Llydsyll Dywa, white baby, head has good turn down, perhaps could do with a touch more fill. Wicked eye, just over 6 months, elbows & topline need to tighten, strong quarters. Moved fairly well behind, little close in front.

JB (3)

1 Fletcher’s Napier Rosella, quality r/w, nicely filled head, although her markings can be deceptive, gentle turn of profile. Good expression, correct mouth, decent front, well made all through with good bend of stifle. Strong quarters, moved well in front, a little close behind;

2 Bloom & O’Neill’s Khlolander Tropicana at Abenaki, typy r/w, good eye placement, level bite, good reach of neck & shapely body, nicely balanced all through. Moved fairly well when she got going;

3 L’Homme & Williams’ Goodbye to Helen Wheels.

PGB (6)

1 Wright & Skelton’s Joint Venture with Rightstuff, quality white, classic head, completely filled with good profile, wicked eye. Correct mouth, good reach of neck, straight front shapely body, strong quarters, moved fairly well;

2 Howes, Sheppard & Taylor’s Ragnarok Daralis with Polanca, eyecatching br/w, strong head with excellent arc, correct mouth. Good reach of neck, straight front, lovely small cat feet, little bit long but strong quarters with good turn of stifle. Moved fairly well;

3 Taylors’ Bullywood Avengin Star to Ragnarok.

LB (6)

1 Price’s Keznel Hot Diamond, top quality white with black ears, a powerful yet feminine bitch, head is completely filled with sweeping profile & deep muzzle. Correct mouth, lovely reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders, straight front, shapely body with well sprung ribs & short back, good bend of stifle, strong quarters & moved well once she got going. CC;

2 Foster’s Bilboen Star At Night, although she was incorrectly down as B Star From Heaven in the catalogue, typy bl/br/w, very good head being filled with gentle profile. Correct mouth, straight front, deep chest, shapely body & short backed. Moved a little close behind;

3 Hearn & Singleton’s Warbonnet Illusion.

OB (8)

What a hard class to judge, as there wasn’t much between the first four.

1 Lamonby’s Emred Night Fever, cobby white with red eye patch, nicely filled head, correct mouth, neat ears, straight front. Good bone for size, short coupled body, moved very well, shown in tip-top condition, pressed hard for the CC. RCC;

2 Dobbin & van Eck’s Ch/Ir Ch Sugar Spun Sister for Debully, completely different in type to 1, upstanding, elegant white with black ear. Nicely filled head with sweeping profile, lovely reach of neck, straight front, correct topline. Good angulation, quarters & tail placement, moved well;

3 Hyland’s Terjo’s Abracadabra.
