ENGLISH BULL SKC MAY 11 Judge(s) MR H MARLEY DCC CHARISHALEE DRUMBEAT (MRS P, MESSRS C & L WANNOP) Bull Terriers PD (1) A. JD (2) 1 Parry’s Bull Dazzled Son Of Darkness at Danathsam, smart tri, strong head, good mouth, neck & shoulders. Straight topline, moved OK when settled. RCC; 2 Wannop & Crossan’s To Son Of Legends, white with good eyes & ears. A good all round dog, movement hard to judge. PGD 1 Wannop’s Charisalee Drumbeat, white with smart head that is not over exaggerated, reachy neck, well placed shoulders, strong quarters, dog & handler were as one. CC; 2 Pilkinson’s Javarke Jack Frost, white, a different type to 1, more to the terrier than 1 but very pleasing on the eye, feet need to tighten, handled & presented well; 3 Gardner & Patterson’s Javarke Sharp Shooter. LD (1) 1 McDonagh & McLeish’s White Viper at Irazistabull, white with brindle ear, plenty of bone & substance, tight fitting coat, strong quarters, moved with drive. OD (2) 1 Castro’s Lopez’ Angus, sorry this is the only name I have, white with two b/br ears, showy, well balanced, good head, eye & mouth, level topline & well laid shoulders, well handled & presented. Unfortunately he did not turn up for the challenge; 2 Dobbin & Van Eck’s Ossysdream Tristar of Debully, tri full of bounce & vigour, pleasing head, small eye & well placed ears.Infortunately he has been chewing stones, never mind he had a good day out. PB (4) 1 Fletcher’s Napier Rosella, r/w 11 months, big well developed bitch, strong head, wicked eye, well placed ears, reachy neck flowing into straight front, with tidy feet, level topline, strong quarters, moved well once settled. BP; 2 Tinkler’s Danbull Divine, 9 months white with two brindle ears, well turned head, good eye & expression, level topline, nice spring of rib, in tip-top condition. Movement let her down; 3 Donagh & McLeish’s Irazistabull Northern Star. JB (3) 1 Wilson & Stephen’s Penderrin Black Heart Maid for Alizarin, b/br, strong head, well turned, correct eye & ear placement, good spring of rib, well angulated quarters, nice tailset, very eyecatching, showing the whole time; 2 Blair’s Ishaba Ebony And Ivory at Megaville, b/br, small prick ears, small wicked eyes, strong muzzle, straight front with tidy feet, tight fitting coat, presented & handled with panache; 3 Tinkler’s Danbull Devoted. PGB 1 Hearne & Singleton’s Warbonnet Illusion, white with a very good head, plenty of fill, wicked eye, long tapering neck, short coupled, strong hindquarters, moved well both ways. LB (4) 1 McGregor’s Merlindan Belisama, r/w, very filled head, excellent ear placement, small eye, tight well marked coat, nice spring of rib. As with most of the dogs & bitches it was hard to judge movement it must be that spring is in the air; 2 Richardson’s Dajan Gold Medal for Quayardson, white with eye & ear markings, very eyecatching bitch, good mouth, strong jaw, well boned, straight front, just a shade on long side, handled to advantage; 3 Thomson & Shearer’s Maureen’s Mystery with Nethanbull. OB (6) A real top quality class, all three were top quality. 1 Dobbin & Van Eck’s Ir Ch Sugar Spun Sister for Debully, white with brindle ear, well filled head with a good expression, correct mouth, reachy neck flowing into well laid shoulders, lovely topline, correct tail carriage, a well balanced showgirl, who responds very well to handler. CC & BOB; 2 Mathison’s Ch Blazinbullys Miss Sinister, b/br, a real top class bitch, strong head, wicked eye, good ear carriage, level topline, tight fitting coat, a very well balanced bitch. Unfortunately she was lethargic & just wanted to go home. RCC; 3 Hyland’s Terjo Abcracadabra. HARRY MARLEY |
