ENGLISH BULL NATIONAL TERRIER 10 Judge/s:Keith Goodwin (Ounsdale) As is normal for bull terriers movement was typical, though a few did move quite well, in general most moved with purpose and held their top lines on the move, mouths were better than expected and were in general quite good, in standing canines and small incisors were not a major issue and were in short supply, temperament was sound in all exhibits .Both exhibits looked great in strong groups with the puppy making the cut to the last eight. CC & B.O.B Fortifiers fractious female, white bitch whose main strength is her correctness all over with no exaggerations, her head is long strong with depth and filled up, her eye set is ok and her ears are well placed, her bite is good. Dog CC Mathisons Chamos whispered secret at blazinbullys, eye catching white who is very correct through out which is his main strength, it would be fair to say he would benefit from a bit more fill and profile, however his expression is keen with good ear placement and eye, from the top of his neck right through to his tail he is very correct, well placed and angled shoulders straight front shapely body no excess weight with tuck up, coupled well on to a powerful rear, he stands on good feet his movement on the day was good driving well and reaching out and holding his top line. Congratulations 3rd and qualifying CC Dog RCC Blair’s Megaville’s visions, quality white youngster with eye patch and ear patches, a real star in the making, he looks quite masculine for a youngster, he has a long well filled head with depth, a keen expression, a long neck on shoulders that will settle in time, ie his brisket needs to drop more to complete the picture a shapely body with substance leads to a well angulated rear, his feet are good, his movement was in line with his age, none the less a great youngster with bags of potential. Bitch RCC Woodwards Gobain salacious suzie. White with ear mark, again very correct, with no exaggerations, a strong balanced girl whose handler needs to work harder. Long well filled head well set ears when she used them, eye set ok , a long strong tapering neck on to good shoulders and front, ie straight and angled well, a short coupled body a rear which is well angled and well muscled she stands on good feet, movement was typical. Minor puppy 2 -0 1st Oconnells Ragnarok gungnir at koellen,white youngster who on the day was presented well, head was strong with fill and a good expression, body lines were good and coupled well. Puppy 2-0 1st Megaville visions 2nd Lamonby’s Emred dare devil, another white youngster unfortunate to meet up with 1st, he is a short coupled dog with very correct and clean body lines, angulation through out is good his head is filled with a good eye and ear set, his shoulders are good straight front but untidy around the pasterns a good rear pushed him along well, Junior 4 – 0 1st Chamos whispered secret at Blazinbully 2nd Bennetts Aldamar power storm bla/brin, a generally sound dog that s not comfortable in the ring, needs to stand up and show,he has a good shape to his head, front was straight, short coupled body rear ok. 3rd Caseys Keznel running thunder at warradcasey Novice 2 – 0 1st Sheey Afanbull kid rock, white with bro/brin ears, short backed powerfull animated male, confirmation through out was good his head would benefit from a bit more profile and fill however his expression was good keen and animated. 2nd Aldamar power storm Post grad 3- 2 1st westwoods Tulsadoom abi albon, white with ear marks, upstanding maculine male, a strong contender, the huge bone and skull to this dog cannot be ignored, just right amount of body weight, the angulation through out is good. Long strong head with fill, long neck on decent shoulders, straight front but turns feet a bit, he could be a bit better coupled up, his rear is well angulated better front than rear movement Limit 3 1st Brooks tri Totally osbourne at kellouacy, big heavy boned short coupled male with many virtues, large skull he lacks a little fill and profile, which I felt detracted from the overall balance on such a substantial male, his long neck sits on the best of shoulders, his front is straight, good rear angulation, great bone and substance to this dog ,good feet another strong contender. 2nd Hollindrakes Activator grand finale for bulian, bro/brin, a generally sound dog presented well, good angulation to shoulders and rear he had good fill to his head but perhaps a little profile would help a bit, short backed, straight front bend of stifle adequate. 3rd Browns Meridianview monkey boy Open 3 1st Quinn Padern Abraham of Lincoln, well known tri very correct with no exaggerations to him, good body lines and coupled well, his head is filled up ears and eyes set well shoulders are set well, good straight front, good bend of stifle, his cross to bear is he could be a little more animated. 2nd Morgan’s Marshelsea trouble coming at romanga, big upstanding male plenty of bone and substance, straight front powerful rear, in good condition, front and rear movement ok 3rd Leys Virtous brute force by fortifier. Minor puppy bitch 2 1st Shippam’s kescostaff wispa, bro/bri well marked girl ,long filled head, confirmation sound but still loose presented well 2nd Richardson’s Dajan gold medal for quayardson white with patch and brin ears, again a typey youngster bodied up better than 1st but not as long in head, generally sound through out, presented well. 1st Mathison’s blazinbully’s miss sinister bl/wh, pretty youngster, side on /in profile she presents a very good picture, long head and neck on to good shoulders and front, shapely body, short backed well angulated rear, from the front she is narrow and needs width particular to her head her movement was sound,maturity will help. 2nd McGregor’s merlindan belisima, red / white girl with the best of heads, expression fill depth and width in abundance, her shoulders are good as his her front, she is coupled up ok ,her rear is well angulated, I needed to see her settle a bit more on the move, over all for such a big girl, I feel she just needs time to mature and settle, all in all a very promising girl with an interesting future im sure. 3rd Wright’s rightstuff reason Junior 5- 2 A class I had to choose between a firm favourite and a couple of new kids on the block 1st Woodwards gobain salacious suzie 2nd price’s keznel hot diamond, white potential star, just needs maturity, just out of pup, she has a great head with profile fill and expression,wicked eye good ear set long neck on a straight front with good sized bone, a shapely but still a little loose body, a good strong well angulated rear, she stands on good feet, good luck. 3rdWestwoods Tulsadoom mahuika Novice 1 1st Hylands Terjos abracadabra quality white girl with head and ear marks, who today was a tad heavy, she has a good head with fill, long neck on good front with her elbows tucked in, short backed with a good powerful rear to push her along. Post grad bitch 5-2 Three totally different types that on another day will reverse places 1st Roff’s Bobuddy enigma well known white with brin ears, you just can not ignore this girl, strong packed up head with expression, alert and animated long neck on good shoulders, fore arm could be angulated a bit more, she has a deep shapely body, coupled ok a well angulated rear with good feat, a tad more cover on this up standing girl may well complete the picture for me, a strong contender. 2nd Lmberts Ebullient ebony girl, bl/brin , very correct all through though not spectacular, her head is long and strong and filled, neck leads to good shoulders which are set on a straight front, good body lines, she has a strong well angled rear standing on decent feet. Limit 4-1 1st Roelvink Rhydaman front page, classy white with head mark, very typey very classy girl with a really good head powerful but not over cooked, her neck is long on great shoulders that are correctly angled, straight front, shapely short coupled body, she has a well bent rear, good feet. 2nd Hirst and Martins Yungwood sweet enchantment at santini, bro/brin girl a sound girl who is proportion well, ie coupled up, her head shape is good with fill ears are set well as are her eyes expression keen her long neck sits on good shoulders and straight front, body is shapely but needs depth well angled rear, good honest girl that just needs time and maturity. 3rd C Martins Caliber hoss play Open 4-1 1st leys fortifier fractious female 2nd Thompson and Shearer’s Nethanbull lightening babe with ceilteach, quality white with good make and shape through out, her head is filled with expression all off shoulders front and rear angulation is good, she has a shapely body with clean lines,she shows with verve and is animated. 3rd Leesley’s Bullyview sheer bliss at lydsal Judge Mr K Goodwin Ounsdale |
