Firstly I’d like to thank the Officers and Committee of Midland Counties Canine Society Ltd for the honour of being invited and to judge Bull Terriers at their 2024 Championship Show. Secondly I’d like to thank all the exhibitors that entered under me in these financially difficult times and allowed me to go over their wonderful and cherished exhibits. It truly is an honour to be able to award CC’s in our wonderful breed. Last but certainly not least I want to thank my two stewards Sue and John. There were times with my cancer I wasn’t sure if I’d make it to the day but I was determined to do it. The day came and it wasn’t easy with how I felt, but without a doubt Sue and John’s professionalism, empathy and help they made the day so much easier for me. So a heartfelt thank you to all involved in the awarding of my first sets of CC’s. JD (1) 1 Vataha The Kingpin (Horton) 17 month red and white male. Very clean profile with correct ear and eye set. Correct mouth, strong under jaw with a deep powerful muzzle. Good reach of neck, straight front, correct bone and very tidy cat like feet. Would lie to see a slightly better lay of shoulder and upper arm. A very balanced dog through out that held his topine at all times. Hence slightly close when coming but very parallel behind showing off his lovely moderate bend of stifle, moving with drive at all times. PGD (3) 1 Kenzduo Black Bean at Dukerline (Thomas) 2 year old Black brindle dog. Correct unbroken profile, wicked expression with correct ear set. Correct inscissors but one in standing canine. Lovely reach of neck leading into correct lay of shoulder and upper arm. Ample bone with very tight cat like feet,would like to see straighter pasterns which slightly affects reach when on the move in the front and top line on the move. Moves with drive and parallel behind. 2 Rightstuff Strike (Wright) 2 year old black brindle dog. Upstanding dog, powerful head, deep muzzle with strong under jaw and correct mouth. Good reach of neck into deep chest. Ample bone and tight feet. Would like to see a bit more length in upper arm. Holding top line on the move, parallel throughout on the move, with ample drive behind 3 Starcinco A Million Dreams at Bownesbulls (Bownes) LD (4,1) 1 Kenxtwen Let’s Go (Townend & Ball) 3 year old red and white dog. Very smart compact quality balanced dog in gleaming condition. Beautiful head, great expression with correct ear set. Correct mouth. Correct length of neck for a cobby dog,leading into correct lay of shoulder, perfect upper arm. He has the straightest of fronts, ample bone with super tight feet. Well muscled rear with a moderate bend of stifle as asked for in the breed standard, strong second thigh and powerful hocks. A super typey square balanced dog and once settled, held his top line on the move. He moves parallel throughout reaching out in the front, driving behind. Very pleased to award him his crowning CC. (DCC & BOB) 2 Quentinhill Red Samureye (Szewczyk) 1 year old red and white dog. Another quality dog. Unbroken profile with deep muzzle, great expression, small well placed ears, powerful underjaw with a correct mouth. Good reach of neck leading into correct front. Ample bone and super tight feet. A very correct well laid shoulder and upper arm. Once he settled he moved parallel both ways, with reach in front, holding top line always but not quite drive behind as class winner. Pleased to award him the RDCC. (RDCC) 3 Starcinco A Million Dreams at Bownesbulls (Bownes) OD (4,2) 1 Vetsbullies Living On My Own ( Galla) 3 year old all white dog. Presented in great condition. Classic head, good expression and good mouth. Correct reach of neck, straight front with enough bone and tight feet. Correct front and upper arm. Moved with reach coming but roaches slightly over the loin, moved parallel behind but slightly lacking drive. When standing a very shapely dog. 2 Kamaras Double Jeopardy (Karta-Williams & Williams) 3 year old white dog with eye patch. A large upstanding dog with a powerful head, deep muzzle, good ear set and piercing eye. Mouth reverse scissor. Lovely reach of neck, straight front, deep chested, ample bone and tight feet. Holding top line on the move and moving well both ways, with a well muscled rear and good bend of stifle. VD (1) 1 Waybully Andromeda JW ShCM ShCEx VW 10 year old white male. In fabulous condition for his age. Powerful head, muzzle and under jaw. Age related teeth. Good reach of neck, deep chested. Plenty of bone and good feet. For his age moved well both ways and thoroughly enjoyed himself. (BV) Special Beginners D (1) 1 Rightstuff Black Knight (Mills) 1 year old black brindle dog. Very masculine head, wicked expression,good ear placement and deep muzzle. Correct mouth. Straight front, ample bone leading into good feet. Correct lay of shoulder. Moved well both ways, holding his top line always with a correct bend of stifle. (BSB) PB (1) 1 Aricon Eyeanna at Olliebrad (Bradley) 10 month old white bitch with red head marking. Very striking bitch with an extremely pleasing head. Gentle profile with piercing expression and correct ear set. Two inscissors misplaced. Lovely correct reach of neck leading into well laid shoulders and correct upper arm. Ample bone and neat feet. Moving parallel both ways, holding her top line always with reach to the front, drive behind with a correct tail set. Only going to get better with age. A picture to look at. Very pleased to award her the BCC, her title will only be a matter of time. (BCC BP) JB (5,3) 1 Rebelside Mythical Moon at Phoenixscar (Smithson) 1 year old white bitch with red ear marking. Another bitch with a pleasing head, correct broken profile with a tiny dark eye and correct ear set. Perfect mouth. Plenty of bone and tightest of feet. Would of liked to of seen a slightly better lay of shoulder which made her move slightly close in the front. Very short backed and holding her top line at all times. Moved very well behind with drive, parallel and showing off her correct bend of stifle. Made her handler work hard. 2 Teirwgwyn Miss Hazel of Waybully (Waycott) 1 year old brindle and white bitch. A beautiful unbroken profile with a dark pleasing eye,correct ear set and perfect mouth. Good length of neck, correct bone and the tightest of cat like feet. Would like to see a better lay of shoulder and length of upper arm, making her dip slightly behind the shoulders when moving. Short backed, moved parallel and with drive behind, with a correct bend of stifle. Never taking her eye off her handler. PGB (4,2) 1 Quentinhill Chocolicious (Szewczyk) 3 year old dark brindle and white bitch. Very pleasing head, unbroken profile, deep muzzle with the tiniest of eyes. Has correct well placed small ears. Correct mouth. Lovely reach of neck that leads into a very straight front and tidy feet. Correct shoulder, upper arm and deep chest. Moved well with reach coming and with drive behind. Holding her top line always. A very well balanced bitch. Would like to see a bit more bone throughout. Pushing for top honours today. Her time will come. 2 Venus Backflash at Bullwizz (Leigh) 17 month old brindle and white bitch. Powerful head, unbroken profile with deep muzzle and under jaw. She has a dark well placed eye with correct ear placement. Correct mouth. Good reach of neck, plenty of bone with good tight feet. Lay of shoulder slightly off with a short upper arm just affecting her reach of front movement and top line on the move. Correct tail set, good rear angulation. Moved parallel and with drive behind. Worked very well with her handler. LB (4) 1 Clansman Flame of Glory (Campbell) 3 year old red and white bitch. Very pleasing to the eye and a well balanced bitch. Unbroken profile, wicked expression with a lovely ear set. Perfect mouth. Good reach of neck, leading into a straight front with correct shoulders and upper arm, with cat like feet. Moved with ease, parallel coming and going both ways, holding her top line at all times. Would like to see a bit more bone throughout, but a quality bitch that pushed for top honours today. 2 Bluepoint Sea Dragon at Tewkabull (Tewkesbury) 2 year old white bitch. Very pretty bitch. Clean unbroken profile, tiniest of eyes with correct small ears. Deep muzzle and under jaw. Mouth fault. Clean arched neck, ample bone and tight feet. Slightly off in the lay of shoulder and short upper arm. She just toes in coming and going. Correct tail set. Never took her eye off her handler and was handled to perfection. 3 Aricon Eye Eclipse cum Abbaz (Armatage) OB (3,2) 1 Bluepoint White Swan for Garthybull (John) 3 year old white bitch. Very pretty white bitch with ear patch. Very pleasing shaped head, unbroken profile, tiniest of eyes with a correct ear placement. Deep muzzle and under jaw. Slight mouth fault. Good reach of neck into correct lay of shoulder. Would like to see a touch more length of upper arm. Correct bone and very neat cat like feet. Deep chest and short back leading into a very good tail set and bend of stifle. Moved with drive behind but slightly close coming. Pleased to award her the RBCC. (RBCC) Special Beginners B (1) 1 Archetype Tosheroon for Waybully (Waycott) 2 year old red and white bitch. Strong and deep muzzle with a pleasing eye. Perfect mouth. JD (1)

1 Vataha The Kingpin (Horton) 17 month red and white male. Very clean profile with correct ear and eye set. Correct mouth, strong under jaw with a deep powerful muzzle. Good reach of neck, straight front, correct bone and very tidy cat like feet. Would lie to see a slightly better lay of shoulder and upper arm. A very balanced dog through out that held his topine at all times. Hence slightly close when coming but very parallel behind showing off his lovely moderate bend of stifle, moving with drive at all times.

PGD (3)

3 Starcinco A Million Dreams at Bownesbulls (Bownes)

Holding her top line always. A very well balanced bitch. Would like to see a bit more bone throughout. Pushing for top honours today. Her time will come.

1 Clansman Flame of Glory (Campbell) 3 year old red and white bitch. Very pleasing to the eye and a well balanced bitch. Unbroken profile, wicked expression with a lovely ear set. Perfect mouth. Good reach of neck, leading into a straight front with correct shoulders and upper arm, with cat like feet. Moved with ease, parallel coming and going both ways, holding her top line at all times. Would like to see a bit more bone throughout, but a quality bitch that pushed for top honours today.

1 Bluepoint White Swan for Garthybull (John) 3 year old white bitch. Very pretty white bitch with ear patch. Very pleasing shaped head, unbroken profile, tiniest of eyes with a correct ear placement. Deep muzzle and under jaw. Slight mouth fault. Good reach of neck into correct lay of shoulder. Would like to see a touch more length of upper arm. Correct bone and very neat cat like feet. Deep chest and short back leading into a very good tail set and bend of stifle. Moved with drive behind but slightly close coming. Pleased to award her the RBCC. (RBCC)

Special Beginners B (1)

1 Archetype Tosheroon for Waybully (Waycott) 2 year old red and white bitch. Strong and deep muzzle with a pleasing eye. Perfect mouth. Would like to see a bit more profile. Good reach of neck, ample bone and tidy feet. Moved well both ways, holding her top line at all times.
