ENGLISH BULL JUDGE MIDLAND COUNTIES 09

Bull Terriers

PD (0).

JD (3,2a)

1 Petticrew’s Jackamani’s Celtic Thunder, very good head, correct sweep of down face & Roman finish, neat thin ears, small eyes nicely set in, strong muzzle, broad jaws, good neck & excellent front, bone carried well down to tight feet, good body ribbing & bend of stifle. Tail carried a little too high. Sound jaunty mover & immaculate muscle & condition of coat. CC.

PGD (7,4)

1 Blair’s Megavilles Sardonicus, liked his strength of build & tidy typical movement, good legs & feet, ribs carried nicely back, strong loin & well set & carried tail, pleasing head & sweep of downface, well filled in below the eyes. Ears could be smaller & not so thick. Well muscled & conditioned;

2 Goodwin’s Yungwood Causing Havoc at Ounsdale, a little longer in body but deep well ribbed in chest, typical topline, enough bend of stifle. Swings his rear on the move. Slight break in head profile but his length & strength of foreface are super. Neat ears, strong neck & front;

3 Bond’s Romagna Romeo.

LD (3,1)

1 Moody’s Kersharela Thundercloud at Odyom, well put together, all male, good shoulder & slope to upper arm, fair head & eyes. Ears could be set a wee bit closer together. Super topline & body, excellent rear & powerful behind, good true mover. Inclined to pace on occasion;

2 Dobbin & van Eck’s Buster Black Ears at Debully, preferred his head for strength & has a slightly smaller eye. Neat ears, strong neck. Feet a little bit slack & topline could be more level. Great behind & deep well ribbed chest. Would like a mite more tuck up as his underline is dead level.

OD (7,3)

1 La-Rocque’s Ch Bilboen Prince Of Darkness, good downface & Roman finish, well set eyes, neat thin sears, good well rounded neck, excellent topline & quarters, absolutely sound moving & in immaculate body & muscletone. His tail has a kink & it is carried far too high which spoils his outline. Good round bone & tight feet. RCC;

2 Leesley’s Ch Lydsyll The Untouchable, thought he would be an easy winner but one inverted canine running up into the roof of his mouth knocked him a place. So well balanced in head & his proportions of height to length, moved typically & has plenty of power, super temperament & showing well;

3 Ley’s Virtuous Brute Force by Fortifer.

PB (2)

1 Pleasant’s Casodon Yorkshire Orchid, pleasing head & sweep of downface with no break, well set ears, good neck & front. Rather too long in back & topline can still settle a touch. Well bent stifles & neat hocks, correctly carried tail. Rather ticked in coat. BP;

2 Barton & Johnson’s Casodon Sophies Dream, shorter in back & also very sound for 6 months. Has a mite more bone for her age than 1, good proportions of height & length. A little weak in head & needs more strength of foreface & her tail is set too high. Heavily ticked in coat.

JB (10,3)

1 Bloom’s Abenaki Everlasting Love, a real stand out from first look. I loved her head, good sweep of downface & Roman finish, well filled in under the eyes & terrific strength of jaws, neat thin ears carried nicely, excellent front, bone & tight feet, super body & a perfectly true mover in rear, well set & carried tail, excellent type & high quality. RCC;

2 Ley’s Fortifers Fractious Female, also appealed on the first move, carries herself well, good stride in profile & jaunty typical movement, lovely eyes set in nicely. Not as clean in downface as above but she has good strength of foreface, strong neck, well ribbed back & good bend of stifle. Not quite as clean up & down as winner;

3 Dobbin & van Eck’s Sugar Spun Sister for Debully.

PGB (6,1)

1 Blair’s Terjos Here I Am at Megaville, fair head, good eye placement & size, strong neck & width across the chest, good solid round bone & well knuckled feet, good proportions of length to height. Needs a trifle of tuck-up. OK in rear, reasonable mover all round;

2 Morgan’s Romagna Parisien Walkway, super head & expression, OK in front, deep chest. Rather too long in loin which upset her balance. Tail carried high & she needs a little more bend of stifle. Excellent coat & condition;

3 Leesley’s Kilacabar Kissandra at Lydsyll.

LB (4,2)

1 Monaghan’s Kellouacy Disco Diva at Justbully, ticking in coat but not too extensive. Liked her length of head, slight break over eyes in downface but a good head otherwise & lovely expression. Sound legs & feet, good ribbing & short strong couplings, excellent rear & very true & precious moving with good stride in profile;

2 Draper’s Emred Zurie par Albaeda, looked lovely standing & had a slightly better downface than 1. Her underline was a little untidy & she was very naughty moving & so full of herself. Powerful impressive quarters, tail set too high & could be carried lower.

OB (6)

Lovely class.

1 Leesley’s Bullyview Sheer Bliss at Lydsyll, outstanding all through, super head, well filled in & a perfect downface, neat ears carried well, strong neck, excellent front & shoulder, well ribbed, correct firm backline, well made powerful rear. Tail a bit thin & ‘Whippety’ but could not dislike anything else about her. Powerful, strong & typical mover & in perfect condition. CC & BOB;

2 Sewards’ Padhen Precious Pearl, good coloured bitch, appealed for make & shape, not overlong in back as some were, lively & strong on the move, good head & expressive eyes, neat thin ears, neat mover all round. Underline could have a little tuck up, otherwise close up;

3 Cox’s Ch/Ir Ch Coxgal Oiche Angel.
