ENGLISH BULL DARLINGTON 19 Judge: Mr Brian Smalley BEST OF BREED : 2296 GALLA Dr O A & L C Vetsbullies Killer Queen ENGLISH BULL JUDGE DARLINGTON 19 Many thanks to the Darlington Committee for the kind invitation, to exhibitors for their support. There was depth of quality throughout the bitch classes with many good prospects for the future emerging. I am not a mouth fanatic but mouth faults to varying degrees showed themselves in all classes, it does raise some concern. Temperaments on the whole were good. I was extremely pleased that my BOB went on to get shortlisted in the group. 1 Parry’s Kenynten Prince Perfect. White with good eye and earset. Decent profile with enough fill under the eye. Good bone with nice forechest and decent lay of shoulder. Straight front with level topline. Enough angulation to rear. Moved ok when settled. BP. 1 Dyson’s Tawnbarr Battlestar. 17 month old white with eye patch. Good eye, gentle profile. Ideally I’d like a little more fill. Good length of neck and straight front with round bone and tight feet. Level topline and good quarters. Moved better going than coming. 1 Dodd’s Bluepoint Patchogue. Balanced white with eye patch. Good eye and earset, enough profile with fill. Correct mouth. Good forechest and straight front. Decent lay of shoulder into level topline. Powerful quarters moved and showed well. 2 Hewitt’s Pittamina Pit Shaft Boy By Divinelife. Substantial, splashed black and white. Super head with fill, good eye and earset. Round bone, decent topline and good tailset. Moved ok when settled. 3 Kerr & Brett’s Diton Deal Or No Deal. 1 Dodgson & O’Brien’s Bobuddy Word Up. Typy white with super eye and expression. Well placed ears and correct mouth. Good length of neck, straight front with round bone and level topline. Correct tailset. Powerful rear end. Moved and showed well. Pushed hard for RCC. 2 Hackett’s Spartiate Picasso. Powerful, very laid back white with eye patch and mis-mark. Terrific head with fill. Good length of neck with good forechest. Level topline with decent rear end. Movement was hard to assess. 1 Paterson’s Golitha Generationx. Well presented white which takes your eye when entering the ring. Super overall balance. Good eye and earset giving a desired expression. Correct mouth. Gun barrel front, good lay of shoulder, level topline. Nice depth of brisket, good tailset and rear end. Moved and presented to perfection. I had no problem awarding him his first CC. 2 Blair’s Vetsbullies Keep A Knockin’ Into Megaville. RDCC. Another dog with super overall balance. A young, rich well marked brindle, with long sweeping head, with triangular eye and good earset. Correct mouth. Good length of neck into correct lay of shoulder. Level topline and correct tailset. Good rear angulation. Moved freely when settled. Lots more to come from this dog. Won RCC on overall balance and movement. 3 Newberry & Mills’ Teirwgwyn Phantom Jester Fort Ukusa. 1 West & Jones’ Denerian Dragons Queen At Groundworx. Well marked red and white. Compact head, with good eye and ears when shown. Short muzzled with extreme profile and correct mouth. Good bone for size, level topline. Showed well. 2 McDonagh & McLeish’s Ukusa Indepenenceday At Irazistabull. Well marked, pretty black brindle. Sweeping profile with super eye and ears. Correct mouth. Tiny eyes and ears giving a great expression. Correct mouth. Swan-like neck with a decent forechest and straight front. Tight cat feet, up on her toes all the time. Level topline and goo tailset. Moved with drive. Showed and presented well. 2 Dodd’s Teirwgwyn Voodoo Doll. White with red ear. Terrific head with good eye and earset. Enough fill not to be coarse. Good length of neck and forechest. Straight front and level topline. Powerful quarters, moved and presented well. 3 Richmond Brough’s Topfuel Rose Gold. 1 Galla’s Vetsbullies Killer Queen. BCC, BOB. Stunning, well marked, rich brindle and white bitch. Sweeping head without exaggeration. Tiny oblique eye and good earset giving a perfect expression. Mouth is correct. Nice length of neck into decent front and correct lay of shoulder. Level topline, and tailset. Good agulation to rear. Moved freely both ways. Showed and presented well. Moved ok when settled. 3 Sheppard & Howes’ Ragnarok Back In Black From Polanca.
