ENGLISH BULL CRUFTS 19 Judge(s): MRS L McGREGOR BEST OF BREED CH NORDBULL NAUGHTY N'NICE AT ZABAKROL Bitch ENGLISH BULL JUDGE CRUFTS 19 I would like to thank the Crufts Committee for entrusting me with this most prestigious of judging engagements. I would also like to thank the exhibitors for their good humour and sportsmanship. I was extremely pleased with the overall quality of the exhibits and it was a pleasure to go over them. All were of good sound temperament. I note that mouths in general were good and movement has most definitely improved in recent years. Some very hard decisions had to be made, but ultimately I had no hesitation in awarding the CCs to my Best Dog and Best Bitch, both of whom had tremendous virtues. 1 Ziolkowski's Bullyhill Leo Big Lion. 11 month old r/w. Nice filled head with turn, correct mouth. Straight front, well made all through with a decent topline and good quarters. Moved well. BPD. 2 Wilson's Bullyview Chief Little Bear. 11 month old r/w. Powerful head but incorrect mouth. Well rounded body, topline needs to tighten. Movement could be better. 1 Popowicz's Caranthir Buteo. Upstanding bl/br/w 17 month old, very mature. Strong well filled and turned head. Correct mouth. Straight front, good round bone, very deep chest and strong quarters. Moved very well. 2 Creighton's Diton Devil In Disguise. White with red ear, correct mouth, well made all through with good topline and quarters. Moved very well both ways. 3 Kerr & Brett's Diton Deal Or No Deal. White with brindle mark on ear. Nice head, correct mouth. Straight front and nicely made all through. Good bend of stifle and moved fairly well. 1 Dodgson's Bluepoint Sub Zero. Handsome white, strong filled head, wicked eye, good length of neck. Straight front. Nicely rounded body with good tuck up and tail placement. Strong quarters and well bent stifles. Moved fairly well. 2 Lewis & Sarich's Afanbull Gorgeous George. Quality white with black ears. Well filled head, tiny eye and correct mouth. Straight front, good barrel chest and bend of stifle. Moved fairly well. 3 Dodd & Rowlands' Bluepoint Patchogue. Quality white with tri eye patch. Well filled head with good arc, correct mouth. Nicely put together with a short back, but doesn't make the most of himself. Moved very well. 1 Strugarek's Let's Go Party Bulterier. Very typy br/w. Tremendous head. Good mouth, tiny eye. Straight front, good round bone and neat feet. Well sprung ribs, deep chest and decent topline. Would like him a touch shorter in the back. Well made all through with strong quarters. Moved very well. 2 Gausden & Lade's Ellakru It's All About Me. Handsome br/w lovely sweeping head and profile. Good mouth, wicked eye. Decent front. Well put together with good spring of ribs and strong quarters. Didn't make the most of himself. Moved fairly well. 3 Herbin's Nec Plus Ultra Du Royal Belevedere. White. Strong head nicely filled but would like a touch more arc. Correct mouth. Straight front with small cat feet. Good spring of ribs, topline and strong quarters. Moved fairly well when settled. 1 Leggatt's Ch Rabram Rock Star. Outstanding white with eye patch. Completely filled head with excellent profile and turn. Keen expression. Good ear set. Correct mouth. Straight front. Good spring of ribs and topline, short back. Well balanced all through, strong quarters and good angulation. Moved very well. I judged this boy about two and half years ago and gave him the RCC. He has matured and muscled so well that I barely recognised him, he was a great dog then and even more so now. It was a pleasure to go over him again. DCC. 2 Catilana's Ch Dofro Tjurpann Stormraider. Super white boy with long filled head. Wicked eye, well placed ears. Correct mouth. Straight front. Good depth of chest and well sprung ribs. Completely balanced all through with good topline and well bent stifles. Moved very well. Was shown under me as a youngster but what a fabulous difference maturity has made. RDCC 3 Stanley's Ch Fortifeyed With Beauty At Aricon. Ultra typy white. Very strong head, filled right up with good width and profile. Correct mouth. Straight front, very short back and strong quarters. Mature in body and moved fairly well. Completely different type to second place and a close decision. 1 Martin Vanstone's Diton Dixieland With Pussance JW ShCM. White with black ears. Good expression with wicked eye. Correct mouth. Well made all through with good spring of ribs, short back and strong quarters. Moved fairly well. Unfortunate to meet the above two, on another day could easily have had the top position.
