ENGLISH BULL CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 10 Judge: Mr R Lamonby ENGLISH BULL JUDGE CITY OF BIRMINGHAM 10 Bull Terriers PD (1) 1 Martin’s Bullyview Moment Of Madness at Santini, tall upstanding white with brindle eye patch, good head with length, keen expression & correct mouth, clean shoulders & front. Ribs yet to spring making appear long cast. Well angulated quarters, handled well. JD (4,1a) 1 Wannop’s Charishalee Drumbeat, terrier type white with wicked expression, good head with fill. Could use touch more profile. Nice length neck, good shoulders, front & feet. Would like more body. Short back, shapely quarters used to move with drive, handled & showed well, considered for RCC; 2 O’Connell’s Ragnarok Gungnir at Koellen, white with eyepatch, good well turned head, mouth level, good bone & substance. Needs more upper arm which is highlighted on the move. Showed & presented well; 3 Grosvenors Tears Of The Sun. GD (3,1) 1 Hall’s Dajan Classy Prince, well balanced white with filled, turned head & correct mouth, well placed ears. Would like keener eye. Good front & feet, short back & strong quarters. Out of coat & a little overweight giving impression of being light in bone, which he is not. Pushed hard for RCC; 2 Fitzherbert’s Ounsdale Crash Bang Wallop, typy brindle with good head & mouth, keenest of eye & well placed ears making excellent expression, long neck. Average shoulders being a touch short in upper arm. Good front & spring of rib, handled well. PGD (3) 1 Sheppard’s Ragnarok Balder at Polanca, beautifully made red with strong classical head. Mouth undershot. I have admired from ringside for a while, seemed a little out of sorts & didn’t possess usual sparkle. Won class on quality in make & shape; 2 Sheehy’s Afanbull Kid Rock, typy white with good head, correct mouth & keen expression. Nose lacks pigment. Decent front. Untidy feet. Short back, good bone & substance, well handled; 3 Morgan’s Marshelsea Trouble Coming at Ramagna. LD (7,2) 1 Westwood’s Tulsadoom Abi Albon, tall masculine white with coloured ears, strong head with good length & power, correct mouth & mean expression, lovely long neck, well laid shoulders. Front could be better. Deep brisket & well sprung rib, moderate length back, strong, shapely quarters, moved well, covering ground with free easy strides. CC with some to spare; 2 Hollindrake’s Activior Grand Finale for Bulian, typy brindle with strong head & correct mouth, good front & feet, plenty bone & substance, handled & showed well; 3 Quinn’s Padhen Abraham Of Lincoln. OD (6,2) 1 Ferandez’s Sonny Snow De Garnata Alvejud, well balanced white, lovely clean shoulders & good front, short back & good spring of rib, well angulated quarters & moved OK, good head with enough profile, keen eye, mouth OK. Out of condition & poorly presented. Made the most of himself & showed well, this with make & shape won him close class & even closer RCC; 2 Brooks’ Totally Osbourne at Kellouacy, tall upstanding, well balanced tri, excellent make & shape with good bone, decent head. Needs more power & profile. Correct mouth, moved, showed & presented well; 3 Ley’s Fortifers Fiammetta. PB (2) 1 Shippam’s Kescostaff Wispa, well marked brindle, lovely feminine head & correct mouth, good bodylines, moved & showed well. BP & PG1; 2 Morley’s Kimbullis Diesels Delight, another well marked brindle with good head. Doesn’t have eye of 1. Nice make & shape. Would like touch more bone. JB.(5,1) 1 Mathison’s Blazinbullys Miss Sinister, very well made bl/br, good feminine head, lovely gentle profile. Needs more width & fill. Correct mouth, long neck, excellent shoulders, front & feet, good spring of rib, correct topline, shapely quarters, moved well, presented to high standard & showed well. RCC; 2 McGregor’s Merlindan Belisama, typy red, strong, filled head, mouth OK, long neck, decent shoulders, straight front. Feet untidy. Short back, well angulated quarters, plenty bone & substance, showed & handled well; 3 Samway’s Hardysview Rose Petal. GB (5,1) 1 Hearn’s Warbonnet Illusion, white with powerful, filled head, keen eye & well placed ears making excellent expression, incissors correct. 1 instanding canine. Enough virtues in other areas to outweigh this, nice long neck, good shoulders front & feet, short back, strong quarters, moved with drive, showed & handled well, pushed for RCC; 2 Foster’s Bilboen Star At Night, upstanding bl/br, good head with gentle profile, correct mouth, good shoulders, front & topline, moved well & showed well; 3 Richardson’s Dajan Gold Medal for Quayardson. PGB (2,1) 1 Martin’s Mitzstaff Aim To Please, brindle with feminine head, correct mouth, long neck. Average shoulders, needing more upper arm. Decent quarters, showed well. LB (5,1) 1 Martin’s Youngwood Sweet Enchantment at Santini, well marked brindle with classic head, filled & enough turn, correct mouth, good front section, moderate length back, angulated quarters, moved well; 2 Hyland’s Terjo’s Abracadabra, corky white with eye patch, strong well filled head, good expression, mouth level. Would like more reach of neck. Good front, short back, strong quarters; 3 Taylor’s Ragnarok Fricka over Bilboen. OB (7,1) 1 Cox’s Coxgal Oiche Angel, fabulously balanced tri, classic well filled head, turned & filled, perfect mouth, lovely length neck, good shoulders, great front & tight feet, short back, strong well angulated quarters, short strong hocks, moves with drive & purpose, presented, conditioned & handled to perfection, has always been ‘top drawer’, now at top of her game & in this form, very hard to beat. CC & BOB; 2 Seward’s Padhen Precious Pearl, well known red, good feminine head, correct mouth, well balanced with good bone, moved & handled well, in gleaming condition, pushed for RCC; 3 Ley’s Ch Fortifer Fractious Female. |
