AUSTRALIAN JUDGE WELSH KC 18 Judge: Mrs Erin Brown (Australia) BEST OF BREED : 4069 JONES Mrs M R Dk & Lux Ch Wyeafon Blue Illusion TAF ARAF AUSTRALIAN JUDGE WELSH KC 18 It was a pleasure to judge this breed and find excellent breed type and soundness. PD (1) 1 Stoddart, Mackintosh, Stubbs & Seaton's Temora The Hawk (Imp USA). Good breed type and correct expression. Excellent head, with correct shaped eyes and ear size. Reasonable length of neck flowing into a firm topline. Angulation front and back is good but would like a little more length in body. He needs to tighten up in front, which may come as he matures. Movement was a little loose also. Good coat texture and colour JD (1) 1 Nottingham & Candell-Owen's Valmar Von Den Grauen Anfurten. This youngster again is a lovely example of the breed. Pleasing head with the "varmity" expression which makes the breed. Excellent neck line and strong topline with a good length of body. Front angulation slightly upright; very good hind angulation which impacted on the movement. Excellent coat and colour. PGD (1) 1 Ferris & Russell's Wyeafon Percival. Very pleasing outline with a strong level topline with a good length of body. Head well proportioned with correct sized eyes. Excellent expression. Good angulation front and back and moves cleanly. Coat and colour good. LD (2) 1 Taylor's Wilfnbell Barney's Blue. Excellent outline showing the correct proportions of the breed. Good neck flowing into a level topline. Head nicely proportioned but the eyes need to be smaller. Well angled and moves reasonably well. Coat texture could be a little harsher and colour stronger. 2 Skelton's Spitewinter Ooh Ah Henry. Again a pleasing outline but would like a little more length in body. Head and expression are excellent with the correct eye shape. Shoulder placement a little upright however the hind quarters and stifle are excellent - hind movement very clean but toes in in front. Lovely coat texture and colour. OD (1) 1 Jones' Dk & Lux Ch Wyeafon Blue Illusion TAF ARAF. Loved this dog. Beautiful head with correct eye shape, small ears and that "varminty" expression. Excellent body length and strong topline giving him the correct outline. Well angulated both front and behind which showed in his movement which was strong and clean. Excellent coat in both texture and colour. VB (1) 1 Jones' Ch Wyeafon Illusion In Red. Another lovely outline but would like a little more length in body. Super head and correct expression. Better angulated behind than in front, never the less she moved very well. Excellent coat and colour. PB (1) 1 Jones' Kisamba's Special Illusion at Wyeafon TAF ARAF (Imp). Very promising puppy with an excellent head and expression - still needs to grow into her ears. Good topline and length of body which gives her a very pleasing outline. Well angulated front and back. She moves well with a good clean action. LB (2) 1 Jones' Dunhamlake She's Got The Look at Wyeafon (Imp). Correct head and expression with an excellent length of neck. Well laid shoulders and good body length, but her rise up over the hindquarters takes from the outline. Good hindquarters and she moves well. Excellent coat and colour. 2 Bax's Silhill Mighty Mouse. Head and expression not quite correct. Her outline and body length were pleasing. Angulation could be better and this affected her movement. Coat and colour good. OB (4, 1) 1 McCourt's Ch Silhill The Sequel. Lovely head and fabulous expression. Would like a fraction more body length to complete the picture. Has a strong level top line and is well angulated. Moves well. Good colour and coat. 2 Skelton's Ch Millvalley Blue Persimmon. Pleasing outline with good length of body but would like a strong topline. Pleasant head, ears could be a little smaller. Well angulated and while she moves cleanly she does not hold her topline when moving. Coat good texture but colour could be clearer. Judge Ms Erin Brown
