AUSTRALIAN SOUTH WALES 10 Judge(s) MR P HORSPOOL DCC CH/AM CH MILLVALLEY RED RUFUS (MISS S G STODDART) AUSTRALIAN TERRIER PD(1) 1 O’Reilly’s Silhill Bethane Jackaroo. An interesting red dog of 10 months, typical head and expression, fair reach of neck, level topline, good bend of stifle and strong quarters, moved with drive. JD(1) 1 Cabourn’s Spitewinter Cosmos. A very smart and alert blue and tan, pleasing head and expression, appealing outline, good spring of rib, correct tailset, well angulated quarters, moved freely and showed well. LD (1) 1 Jackson &Foskett’s Mistabert Red Rascal. A very typical masculine red dog, owns a good head with a flat skull and dark eye, well placed ears, big spring of rib with level topline, strong quarters, moved well but did not show to the best advantage. OD(3) 1Stoddart’s Ch/Am Ch Millvalley Red Rufus. An eyecatching masculine red dog of quality, wonderful outline, loved his head and expression, good reach of neck, well sprung ribs, correct topline and tailset, well developed muscled quarters, harsh coat, moved freely and with drive, showed well. CC. 2 Jones’ Silhill Blue Velvet From Wyeafon. A blue and tan with more than a touch of class, also scores in head with a keen expression, typical in front, good make and shape, in good form, moved well. RCC. 3 Foskett, Tyrrell &Freer’s Hisnibs (Imp Bel). PB (2) 1 McCourt &Eardley’s Silhill Snap Dragon With Sherex. Attractive, feminine and well balanced red of 10 months, lovely dark eye, well placed ears which gave the desired expression, good level topline, correct quarters, moved with purpose, in good coat and condition, showed with enthusiasm. 2 Moores’ Wyeafon Dicey Affair. An interesting prospect, not as mature as the one above, pleasing in outline, keen expression, nice body of correct length, lacked coat and furnishings to complete the picture. JB (2) 1 McCourt’s Silhill Fragola Conpanna. Litter sister to the bitch puppy and similar remarks apply, in the challenge for best puppy, the movement and showmanship of this bitch won the day. 2 Jones’ Wyeafon Sugar N Spice. A smart red bitch, owns a nice head and expression, typical in outline and balance, could not match the style of the winner. PGB (2) 1 Thompson’s Wyeafon Poledancer. Liked her head and expression, harsh red coat, neck of fair reach, good in body and outline, moved well. 2 Jackson’s Mistabert Nardones Scamp. Unfortunately this bitch didn’t really want to be at the show, missing her usual handler, once on the floor going around, had a pleasing outline, nice head and expression, moved freely. LB(4, 1) 1 McCourt’s Silhill Glamour Puss. A super bitch with lots of style, extrovert showgirl, beautiful head and expression, good reach of neck and well laid shoulders, straight front, big spring of rib with level topline, well developed quarters, moved freely as she is just over 17 months I feel given a touch more time and maturity and I’m sure she will trouble the best. 2 Jones’ Wyeafon Kiss Me Kate. A well proportioned bitch, a desirable head and expression, pleasing in make and shape. 3 Cox’s Brimartz Firelight At Petitpaws ShCM. OB(4) 1 McCourt &Bartolomeo’s Ch Silhill Sweet Pea. A pleasure to judge this outstanding red bitch, oozes quality, beautiful stance and outline, ultra feminine in head with a keen wicked expression, good depth of chest, well sprung ribs, level topline, well developed quarters, moved freely and with purpose, in excellent coat and condition and presented to win CC and BOB. 2 Stoddart’s Ch Millvalley Diva. A blue and tan bitch whom I have judged before. I still like her very much indeed, she too has many fine attributes, first class head with an alert expression, lovely make and shape, moves well front and rear, in very good form, pushed the winner very hard. RCC. 3 Stoddart’s Am Ch Temora’s The Simple Life (Imp). P Horspool |
