AUSTRALIAN JUDGE LEEDS 19

A charming breed, really enjoyed judging.

PD (1)

1 Blagden & McIntosh Millvalley Blue Surprise. A real Terrier attitude and a puppy in attitude, so his mind on other things. However he was enjoying himself and at the start of his career, this is ok. He has a pleasing, long head, with dark eye and small erect ear. In good condition, with body and correct balance of leg to depth with long ribs. At times, I caught him performing with decent stride.

JD (1)

1 Stoddart & Macintosh Millvalley Blue Jack. Notice he is sibling to previous dog, but schooled more and therefore put up a confident, efficient performance. The more I looked, the more I liked him. He has a long head, flat skull, with small well set ear portraying an alert, interested outlook. His body proportions are accurate and topline bang on. Good coat and presentation. He went for it on the move in the challenge so took Res CC & BP.

LD (1)

1 Taylor Wilfnbell Barney’s Blue. Masculine head with correct proportions. Smart, typical and really well presented. His shape and outline depicts the breed well. On the move, coming, a touch wide in front, strong body to well set tail and muscular quarters. Lovely side action and disposition.

OD (5,1)

1 Mackintosh, Stoddart, Stubbs, & Seaton Temora The Hawk (Imp USA). Masculine, fit and sound, a real Terrier throughout. Has flat skull, good eye and evident stop. Has strength in muzzle and punishing jaw. Dry neck with carriage displaying alert spirit. Level back good spring of rib to muscular loin. Small, well padded feet. He was up for all asked by his handler and went with a supple true gait. CC.

2 Ferris & Russell Wyeafon Percival. Lovely type with pleasing head. Good forehand, level back to good set on. Presented in good order. Held it together going round to present a useful picture.

3 Skelton Spitewinter Ooh Ah Henry.

OB (3)

1 McCourt Ch Silhill The Sequel. Smart, sassy and can really take it away on the move, with carriage of firm lines and impulsion with reach and drive from strong outline. She is strong and feminine, each part fitting smoothly through to the next. Immaculate presentation and coat, she just never puts a foot wrong. CC & BOB.

2 Stoddart Ch & Ir Ch Millvalley Classical Red. Spirited young lady. She appeals in head, has reach of neck through firm topline to well place tail. In good condition and presents a shapely outline. Res CC.

3 Jones Dunham Lake She’s Got The Look At Wyeafon (Imp USA).
