AIREDALE JUDGE MANCHESTER 10

Airedale Terriers

PD (3,1a)

1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity Grandioso, well grown, good depth, body & rib, nice strong hindquarters, well carried ears. Bit fancy in front movement;

2 Gregg’s Bambusa Nagarrick, quality baby, only 6 months & a week & up against a dog of 9 months. I think he is right for his age & shows lots of promise. Well balanced head, good topline & tail.

JD (4,1)

1 Collins & Curran’s Collcurr The Emperor, pleasing head, well carried ears, good neck, shoulders & front, nice outline, looked well on the move;

2 Toulson’s Toulsyork Combat Cooper, masculine dog, not just as pleasing in ears. Good eyes, well made, strong hindquarters. 1 had the edge in front;

3 Eggleton’s Saredon Horatio.

PGD (6,4)

1 Ball’s Jolliver In Saundaire, neat, nice neck, topline & tail, good feet. Bit lazy in ears but can use them well. In good coat. Could be a little stronger in second thigh;

2 Simpson & Storey’s Jonvias Montgomery.

LD (6,4)

1 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Flash Gordon, not that keen on being handled but came into his own on the move. Neat, good head & ears, nice neck, shoulders, front, legs & feet, well coupled, good topline & tailset, well made hindquarters;

2 J Montgomery.

OD (6,2)

1 Averis’ Ch/Am Ch Longview Joker of Saredon, lovely head, eye & ears, good neck, shoulders & front, well coupled, firm topline, good tailset, stands on the tip of his toes, looked well moving being in sparkling form. CC & BOB;

2 Gregg’s Ir Ch Bambusa Nobility, very nice dog, very good body & rib, nice neck & shoulders, well set tail, nice strong thighs. Not quite the style of 1 but a very good Airedale. RCC;

3 Collins & Curran’s Collcur Courageous.

VD (2)

1 Nice to see these two very nice boys, they did their owners proud. 1 Martin’s Saredon Fire Warrior at Tobadale, although over 8 still has the spark of youth & enjoyed himself moving well, good shape & balance. BV;

2 Peel’s Saredon Sniper of Esanar, at 7½ years has put on a little extra weight but enjoyed himself on the move.

PB (3,)

1 Hampton & Hall’s Muliebrity True Spirit, very nice puppy, litter sister to Grandioso. Pleasing neck, shoulders, topline & tailset, nice firm hindquarters, good feet. Much steadier than 2 & 3 who are just 6½ months. BP;

2 Jackson & Swash’s Jokyl Time To Party, looked very well when set up, nice topline & tailset, short backed, full of character & promise;

3 Haly’s Vivavick’s The Royal We.

JB (6,1)

1 Collins & Curran’s Collcurr The Empress, good head, eye & ears, well bodied, short coupled, nice topline, good bone, legs & feet;

2 Edwards’ Smockalley Top Totty, nicely balanced, good bone & feet, nice topline. Can still have a little more strength on the move but a very pleasing feminine bitch & when she used her ears had a lovely expression;

3 Holbrook’s Matrasen Just Clowning.

PGB (10,5)

1 Toulson’s What Comes Around via Toulsyork, very showy, pleasing head, good neck, topline & tailset, very good hindquarters, moved & showed with spirit;

2 Ball’s Saundaire String of Pearls, feminine, good body & ribs. Not as short coupled as 1 & could be a little stronger in hindquarters;

3 Oates’ Stabuks Primrose.

LB (8,3)

1 Keay’s Magwyr Sweet Drems with Jaymitch, good head, pleasing neck, shoulders, topline & tail, moved well;

2 Felstead’s Minnisoda Calender Girl, also very nice, feminine, good head, eye & ears, nice neck & topline. Can still drop a shade in brisket. Well made hindquarters;

3 Oates’ Stabuks Ebony.

OB (4,2)

1 Jackson & Swash’s Ch Jokyl Star Flash, lovely quality bitch, beautiful head, very good ears & expression, good neck, shoulders & front, topline & tailset, well made hindquarters, showed & moved well but for BOB the dog was that little steadier in front. CC;

2 Gregg’s Ir Ch Bambusa Roll Model, lovely bitch. Could be a little better in ears. Good bone, legs & feet, well coupled, good over the loin, croup & hindquarters. RCC.

VB (2,1)

1 Keay’s Jaymitch Kristina of Palmer, 9½ & still very good, well bodied, good bone, nice width in quarters, nice neck holding her head well. Little lazy in ears.
